The Kenosha YMCA recognizes that our members are looking for effective solutions to ease the stresses of daily life. It is the Kenosha YMCA's belief that the therapeutic treatments at Wellness at the Y go beyond pampering. They can be vital to health and well-being. Let our friendly, professional staff nurture your spirit, your mind and your body. And before or after your treatment, enjoy a whirlpool, sauna or steam. All services take place in our beautiful center, located in our state-of-the-art Callahan Family Branch, opened in 2003. Call 262-654-9622 ext. 201 to set up an appointment or get more details. Massage: Relax and refresh with a traditional Swedish Massage, a Deep Tissue Massage or Myofascial Release Massage, for those who would like the benefits of a Deep Tissue Massage without the deep pressure. We also offer invigorating Sports Massages, stress-melting Hot Stone Massages and soothing Prenatal Massages. We offer 30, 60 and 90 minute massages as well as Massages for Two, which can take place in adjoining rooms with a sliding door between them so you can share the experience. Bridal Parties: With enough notice (usually a minimum of four weeks), we can close Wellness at the Y to everyone but your party. We can even arrange for a private yoga, Pilates or aerobics class before you receive your spa services! Lunch can also be furnished. Couples Massage Classes: These classes are offered on an ongoing basis. Couples will learn a basic, yet effective, massage routine that will help each partner reduce muscle tension and enhance relaxation. Participants receive a complimentary guide and massage oil to take home. "Couples" may consist of any two people with an interest in exchanging massage. Each class is limited to six people, who will learn in our fully-equipped massage rooms. |
