Celebrating Service & Leadership: Kenosha YMCA Honors 2025 Award Winners at Annual Luncheon

The Kenosha YMCA proudly celebrated its 2025 Award Honorees, recognizing local individuals and organizations who embody the Y’s mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The awards were presented at the Annual Luncheon, held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the UW–Parkside Ballroom.

Presented by First American Bank, the event marked the kickoff of the YMCA’s Annual Campaign and brought together hundreds of community members, volunteers, and supporters united in their commitment to strengthening Kenosha through service, compassion, and connection.

As the YMCA celebrated 95 years of service, the Annual Luncheon continued its cherished tradition of recognizing those who make Kenosha a better place to live, work, and grow. The prestigious Nash Awards, named after community leader Charles Nash, paid tribute to outstanding contributions in three key categories: Volunteer, Business Partner, and Employee of the Year.

“We are grateful to our volunteers and donors who believe in our mission,” said Cindy Altergott, CEO of the Kenosha YMCA. “They help the Y accomplish so much in our community. The energy that the Annual Campaign generates is amazing, and I’m excited to reach our goal of $100,000.”
