May is Safety Around Water Month. The Kenosha Safety Around Water Coalition Continues to Raise Awareness and is Offering Tips To Keep Our Community Safe in and Around Water this Summer.

As one part of a plan to develop and revitalize the City’s older neighborhoods, the City of Kenosha is developing the Kenosha Emerging Leaders Academy (KELA) in partnership with local educational institutions. Learn More Here.

In early February, Gov. Tony Evers announced more than $82 million in grants through the Equitable Recovery Grant Program were awarded to support community-based organizations working to increase equity and eliminate disparities in communities disproportionately affected by the pandemic statewide. 

The Kenosha YMCA invites you to save the dates for the return of the Annual Firecracker Run/Walk, FORE! A Good Cause Golf Outing, and Fall Festival!

The Kenosha YMCA distributed 75+ turkeys to families in need on November 17, 2021. The opportunity came from a donation from the Kenosha Country Club, a long-time YMCA partner.

The Kenosha Y offers before and after-school child care, preschool, summer camp, and Kid’s Club. You will always find an option that suits your needs and programs that offer your son or daughter so much fun and enjoyment!

After a year break the Firecracker was back with over 300 runners! The Firecracker and all Y special events bring the community together in a fun and healthy way to raise funds that support life-changing programs offered free of charge to the community.

Child care is one of the many perks of being a Kenosha YMCA member. Kid’s Club is open in the morning from 8 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am-12:30 pm on Saturday. We are also open in the evening from 4 pm-8 pm Monday through Thursday and 4 pm-7 pm on Fridays. Children are limited to only two hours at Kid’s Club.
