Kenosha YMCA 43rd Annual Firecracker 5K a Success
July 1, 2021After a year break the Firecracker was back with over 300 runners! The Firecracker and all Y special events bring the community together in a fun and healthy way to raise funds that support life-changing programs offered free of charge to the community.
Child Care at the Y
June 6, 2021Child care is one of the many perks of being a Kenosha YMCA member. Kid’s Club is open in the morning from 8 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am-12:30 pm on Saturday. We are also open in the evening from 4 pm-8 pm Monday through Thursday and 4 pm-7 pm on Fridays. Children are limited to only two hours at Kid’s Club.
National Safety Around Water Month
May 4, 2021With public pools and beaches opening again this summer, there will certainly be excitement around water! The Kenosha Safety Around Water Coalition is campaigning during the National Safety Around Water month of May tips for safety around water.
Ice Danger: Kenosha Harbor
January 7, 2021The Kenosha Safety Around Water Coalition urges the community not to recreate on the ice in the Kenosha harbor. Lake Michigan, and the harbor area in particular present significant dangers. This remains true in the winter months.
