Our top priority is the health and well-being of our members, staff and community, and we’re working hard to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards for hygiene and safety based on CDC, state and local health guidelines. Below is the latest updates to our phased re-opening plan. Please note this information could change at any time.

  1. Are masks required at the Y?
    No, however we respect and support our member’s, guest’s, and staff’s choice to continue to wear masks if desired.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE Y… 

FACILITY HOURS

Monday – Friday: 5:00am – 9:00pm

Saturday: 6:00am – 5:00pm

Sunday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

  • Water Bottle, bottle fillers are available. Water fountains are unavailable.
  • Towel(s), workout &/or shower. Towel service has been eliminated
  • Lock for locker if using locker room
  • Recommended: Workout/Yoga Mat, Basketball

GENERAL FACILITY

  • Enter / Exit: through Main Front Doors
    • Members are asked to use hand sanitizer upon entering & exiting
  • Check In: Scan in with no touch card scan
  • Member Only Access: Kenosha Y Members & Nationwide Membership
    • Day Passes & Member Guest’s have been temporarily suspended
    • Classes and Programs are OPEN for General Public Registration
    • Child care programs are OPEN to General Public
  • Social Distancing: Please try to maintain a 6’ spacing whenever possible
    • All equipment has been physically distanced a minimum of 6 feet
  • Membership / Program Questions & Transactions: Give us a call at 262.654.9622.
    • ONLINE REGISTRATION STRONGLY ENCOURAGED
  • Temperature Checks: Not required.
  • Locker Rooms: Open, please bring a lock
    • Whirlpool open, limit 2 people at a time, 10 minute time limit
    • Sauna open, limit 2 people at a time, 10 minute time limit
    • Steam Room, limit 2 people at a time, 10 minute time limit
  • Enhanced cleaning protocols are in place to ensure safety and cleanliness
    • Members asked to wipe equipment down before and after each use
  • Basketball: Limited availability
    • Reservations Required, Please call 262.654.9622
    • Bring Your Own Ball
  • Massage: Open to Members & General Public. Please call 262.654.9622 to make an appointment
  • Pools: Open, first come, first served. See Pool Schedules
    • Warm Water Pool Capacity Limit = 25 people

IN-PERSON CLASS SAFETY

  • Equipment: Participants will have their own equipment that is cleaned & sanitized after each class.
  • Group Fitness Classes (free)
    • Open to Members only
    • Held in the Gymnasium to allow physical distancing
    • Limited options and Capacity limits
    • Bring your own mat and water bottle
  • Paid Classes
    • Open to the General Public
    • Registration is Required
    • Please maintain a 6 foot distance in class or while viewing your child’s class.
      • Due to space, some classes may no longer allow viewing as space is not available

VIRTUAL OPTIONS

  • Group Fitness Classes: Most of our fitness classes are available via ZOOM thought our Virtual YMCA website.
    • Virtual Y also includes on-demand videos and Y360.
      • On-demand Videos section includes videos from your favorite Kenosha YMCA instructors
      • Y360 features a WIDE variety of on-demand videos from Y’s across the country

    • 72 hours fever free
    • Follow CDC & Health Department recommendations regarding quarantine
  • Maintain your distance
  • Wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds
    • Use hand sanitizer when washing not available

    • Cleaning supplies provided

KIDS’ CLUB

  • First Come, First Served basis
  • Time Limits
    • 6 weeks -6 months old – 1 hour
    • 7 months – 12 years old – 2 hours
  • Please bring sippy cup or bottle. No snacks unless a medical need
