This is a relaxed atmosphere for all adults that would like to learn how to climb or expand their knowledge of the sport of climbing. There will be an instructor available to answer any questions or give you climbing advice if desired. Otherwise, just come and have a good time climbing with some friends. All participants must be 18 years or older to participate in this program.
This class will educate climbers on basic equipment, skills, harness set-up and safety. Participants will use the auto belay system and be belayed by instructor throughout class. Climbers will set goals to achieve by the end of the session. Minimum Age: 5
This class will educate climbers on more advanced climbing skills and belay techniques. It will serve as a gateway to the outdoors by increasing your knowledge of climbing terminology and technique and route climbing for inside and outside facilities. You must have completed the beginner class before registering for this class. If you are transferring from another facility, please contact Beth Volbrecht at x224 before registering. Minimum Age: 5
This class will further climbers education on climbing technique and terminology. It will give climbers the opportunity to not only be belayed but belay themselves along with using assisted belay devices. Climbers will also have the opportunity to route build. Lastly, advanced limbers have to have a high level of fitness so fitness training will also be part of the curriculum to help you become a better all around climber. You must have completed the beginner and intermediate class before registering for this class. If you are transferring from another facility, please contact Beth Volbrecht at x224 before registering. Minimum Age: 5 Equipment Suggestions: Chalk Bag and Climbing Shoes. You are welcome to bring in your own harness and belay devices as well.
